How we handle your data.
1. Who we are
TradeAir (IFSC) Private Limited (“TradeAir”, “we”) is registered with the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) as a Broker-Dealer (INZ000180635) and as a Fund Management Entity (IFSCA/FME/II/2022-23/059). Our registered office is Unit 402, 4th Floor, Hiranandani Signature, GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382355. This policy covers personal data we collect through tradeair.in, our enquiry and application forms, and our onboarding of clients and investors.
2. What we collect
- Enquiries. Your name, email address, country of residence, the product you are interested in, your investor type, the indicative investment amount, and your message.
- Onboarding and KYC. The identity, address, tax and financial details and documents that law and our onboarding checks require for your investor category, including source-of-funds information. For entities, this includes constitution and beneficial-ownership documents.
- Accounts and transactions. Account, order, trade, holding and payment records relating to the services you use.
- Careers. The details and CV you submit when you apply for a role.
- Communications. Emails, calls and messages you exchange with us.
- Website use. Aggregate visit statistics. We do not set advertising cookies. We use cookie-free analytics to count visits. We do not set cookies on this website, and we do not use analytics to identify you.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to confirm whether you are eligible for a product.
- To open, operate and service your account or investment.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including KYC, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing checks, record-keeping, and reporting to IFSCA, the exchanges and other authorities.
- To keep our systems and your account secure, and to prevent fraud.
- To consider your job application.
- To send you information you have asked for. You can opt out of non-essential communications, and withdraw any consent you have given, at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed for the purposes above:
- Exchanges, clearing corporations and depositories for trades you place, for example NSE IX, India INX and their clearing corporations.
- Regulators and authorities, including IFSCA, where the law requires it.
- Fund service providers for TradeAir Fund investors: the trustee, fund administrator, custodian and auditor named on our Disclosures page.
- Our US-regulated partner broker, for Global Stocks accounts opened through us.
- Technology and professional service providers that host our website, forms, email and systems, or that advise us. They act on our instructions and must keep the data confidential.
Some of these recipients are outside India, for example our partner broker in the United States. Where we transfer data abroad, we do so in line with applicable law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. KYC, account and transaction records are kept for at least five years after the relationship ends, or longer where the law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship, and unsuccessful job applications, are deleted when we no longer need them.
6. How we protect it
We use technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encryption in transit and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure. If you think your account or data has been compromised, contact us straight away.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to:
- access your personal data;
- correct it;
- update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights.
We may need to keep some data to meet legal or regulatory obligations, even after a request to erase it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
